When he was a child, his dream was a taxi driver. It seemed that driving a car was very attractive for him. But he finally decided to become an engineer. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Yeungnam University, Korea in 1994, 1996, and 2002, respectively. From 1996 to 1997, he worked as a researcher at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. He married in 1999, and has two sons now. During 2002-2003, he was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada. He is currently a guest professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Yeungnam University, Korea. His areas of interest are computational intelligence, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, data mining, bioinformatics, medical informatics, soccer, tennis, swimming, snowboarding, climbing, travelling, swordsmanship, calligraphy, and more. *** Team Members: 1) Yeung-Hak Lee.
