Plan of Action [28 October 2005] [Comments of Principal Coordinator in blue]
Frankly speaking, Koreans (include myself) are not familiar with the multidisciplinary cooperation to each other whose areas of interest are far different, though similar areas of interest have been discussed for the cooperation many times (inside engineering, science, etc.). Moreover, we stick to regionalism and school relations when we make a network for the cooperation. When we make a network for the cooperation with foreign countries, USA is dominant. Therefore, another way of general networks and influences (diversity) are strongly recommended to us. Hopefully, I guess the NewPOL Consortium Network must be one of the challenges to this main stream in Korea. [As presented, a very stimulating challenge for the NewPOL Network. Thank you for your efforts.]
